Okay a Few Random Things.....

So, Verizon said our Internet would be off today. Obviously it's not. It is quite strange, but I'm not complaining! The only thing we can't do is check our Verizon Email. So, I have no idea when our Internet will turn off, so I am taking this opportunity to fill ya'll in on a few exciting things!

I know some of you read Handsome Hunks blog and may have read this post.

I need to clarify a little...what they wanted was rent for the month of March, and an early termination fee which was equivalent to one months rent. The letter said both of these were due before we returned our keys. Needless to say we were a little upset. Especially when I poured through our lease reading every. single. boring. legal-jargon-filled. line and there was nothing about any of that. All our lease says is we need to give at least 30 days written notice, which we had.

There was a note on the top of the letter from our landlord saying she wanted to talk to us about our move out date, so I was wondering what that was about.

So, today I went to talk to her to see what we could work out, etc. Well, the whole thing was just a big misunderstanding!! When I told her our move out date she thought I said we would move out when our lease expires. So, she was confused when she read our letter and it said March 1st. Anyways...the long and the short of it is....NO. FEES! YAY! We can go ahead and move out no problem. Needless to say there is much rejoicing in this little Culver household tonight! I think I might even make pancakes for dinner to celebrate! *smile*

HALLELUJAH!! GOD IS GOOD!

Well, I think there was something else I was going to say, but I'm so excited about the above mentioned yay, that I can't remember.

Well folks, I probably won't post again until I am in my new residence!

Oh and the great dishwasher fast of 2008 is going remarkable well. I will fill you all in after we move! Thank you for your advice!
